The project

What we built in Bourne, MA.

Part of the Bourne Seaside project, built to a landscape design by Bernice Wahler Landscapes. The drive court in front of the garage is finished in pea stone and edged with granite, giving the arrival a soft, period-appropriate surface that still handles daily traffic.

Beside the drive, a hand-set fieldstone wall holds the grade change and carries a timber pergola, with stepping stones, lawn and new plantings tying the garage, the pergola and the house together. Elsewhere on the property we built a curved fieldstone wall with granite slab steps up to the house.
