Nantucket is a market we've served continuously since the company began. Our Nantucket work runs from town-proper restoration projects on cobblestone streets, out to 'Sconset's bluff-top estates, north to Dionis, and across the moors. On every project the brief is the same: build to the island's standard of craft, in materials that survive the island's weather, with logistics that account for the boat schedule.

Nantucket's design culture is unforgiving in the best way. Every stone has to be right, every plant has to be a species that proves out on the island, every drainage detail has to handle a storm cycle that drops six inches in twelve hours. We staff Nantucket projects with crews who live and work on the island year-round — they know the soil profiles, the prevailing winds, and the local nurseries that stock plants proven on the moors.

Common Nantucket projects: full new-construction landscapes on 'Sconset and Dionis estates; restoration masonry in town and along Old North Wharf; pool surround construction in bluestone and stone coping; and year-round weekly maintenance programs that include lawn care, horticultural care, irrigation oversight, seasonal cleanups, and pruning.

On a 'Sconset bluff-top property we engineered a fieldstone retaining wall and a hidden drainage system to take a back-yard slope that had failed twice in past nor'easters. The new wall has held through every storm since. The owner has the back yard he was promised; we have a property that will look the same in twenty years.
